RITA (Finnish Risk and Needs Assessment Form) is a semi-structured interview used to assess the risks and rehabilitation needs of offenders. It supports parole and sentencing decisions by evaluating factors such as criminal history, substance abuse, and social circumstances. The tool provides a comprehensive understanding of an individual's rehabilitation potential, while allowing the interviewer discretion in interpreting the results.
