OxRec is a web-based tool designed to assess the risk of violent recidivism in released prisoners and probationers. It uses data from criminal history, sociodemographic, and clinical factors to generate risk categories and probability scores for reoffending within 1 to 2 years. The model was derived from a large cohort of prisoners and has been validated internationally. OxRec assists criminal justice professionals by providing evidence-based predictions that support decision-making in parole and sentencing.
