The "Pametna Mlaka" project led to the development of a digital twin for the Mlaka neighborhood in Kranj, Slovenia. This digital twin is powered by data gathered from technologies like smart meters (for electricity, gas, water, and traffic) and environmental sensors. By leveraging this data, the project facilitates real-time monitoring of resource usage, allowing both citizens and authorities to access and analyze it. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance resource management practices and increase sustainability, and scale up the solution beyond Mlaka, which served as the arena for this pilot project.
