CLAUDETTE is a project focused on developing tools to help online platform users assess the fairness of contracts and privacy regulations of the platforms. Its goal is to empower individuals and civil society by enabling easy evaluation of these agreements. Currently, the technology is in the experimental stage, being developed in a laboratory setting.
Access to Justice and Legal Aid

Virtual Legal Assistants: AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants provide legal information and guidance to the public, improving access to legal services and aiding self-represented litigants. Document Automation for Legal Aid: These tools help generate legal documents for individuals who cannot afford legal representation, ensuring broader access to justice.

Ethical and Fairness Monitoring

Bias Detection and Mitigation: AI systems are employed to detect and mitigate biases in judicial decisions, ensuring fairness and impartiality in the legal process. Transparency and Accountability Tools: These tools enhance the transparency of judicial processes and decisions, promoting accountability and public trust in the legal system.
