Chatico is an AI-powered virtual assistant deployed by the Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá to provide citizens with information about local government services, participation campaigns, and public services. It helps residents navigate through various government processes such as SISBEN, education, mobility, and public health, offering a 24/7, interactive support channel. The platform also facilitates direct citizen engagement by allowing people to vote on key civic initiatives like "Causas Ciudadanas" (Citizen Causes) and "Presupuestos Participativos" (Participatory Budgets). Chatico operates on multiple channels, including WhatsApp, making it accessible and easy to use for a wide audience. The tool is continually evolving, learning from user interactions to enhance its responses and include more relevant topics like gender violence routes, tourist information, and social assistance.
